Year of Anniversaries
This year has been an amazing year of anniversaries for us. Twenty years ago, in January 1998, we first went to Africa. Fred and I both turn 60 this year and October 21st was our 40th wedding anniversary. I can’t help but ponder over all of the journeys we have made. We started out in youth ministry, then pastoring two churches, one trip to
Guatemala, trips to Russia and back and then our move to Africa.

Now 20 years later, we have traveled the world, partnered with and founded Bible
schools, and taught countless students who have grown up in the Lord and who
themselves are in ministry. I am so grateful for the hand of the Lord that has guided us
through the years. In this day and age when broken relationships are the norm,
and where fear for the future is growing, we need to celebrate these victories. What God has done for us, he will do for you.

Philippines Ministry ReportPic1
I (Debby) recently returned from a month in the Philippians. The trip started out with a bang. A monster hurricane was hitting the East Coast of the USA as I left and a super
Typhoon was coming towards the Northern part of Luzon, Philippines. In my hotel in Manila, after I arrived, I could hear the rain from the outer bands of the typhoon hitting my hotel windows as the storm was only beginning to hit the island. I had to stay in Manila a few days until friends could pick me up. Even then mudslides covered the roads and the drive was slow. We eventually made it to Baguio where we had a couple nights of revival. From there we went to Mountain Provence and we had revival meets every night in different churches/locations. During the day we prayed with many pastors and their families. I have discovered that sometimes the most important ministry I have is encouraging these pastors to go on. Depression and loneliness often attack
those who are in ministry. They work alone, sometimes hours away from another church.

Half way through the trip I flew to the island of Palawan. There I also visited churches, held revival meetings and spent time encouraging the pastors and their families. The Holy Spirit moved powerfully at all of the meetings and I ministered to hundreds who flocked the alter. The people were so hungry for the Holy Spirit that sometimes the same people
would come 2 and 3 times in one night just to receive more prayer and another blessing from the Lord.

Bishop Jun of Palawan has partnered with a ministry in Fiji and they are building a new church in Puerto Princesa. It is a beautiful church building and is being dedicated in November.  I rejoice in what God is doing in this ministry.

Canada
I came home and the next weekend, October 19-21, Fred and I traveled to Canada. I was the speaker for the Canadian, GCMF woman’s conference. We had an amazing time and many women were touched by the Holy Spirit with many testimonies. Fred dropped me off for the woman’s conference and traveled on to Quebec to minister with our friend Peter
Shannon.

New York
October 26-28 I spoke at a ladies conference in our home church, Salamanca NY. The Holy Spirit moved powerfully and lives were changed.
