Happy New Year

Last year was an exciting year that included many mission trips to several countries. This year is looking to be even more fruitful starting with trips to Niger and Benin. I will be leaving Buffalo on March 6, arriving in Niamey, Niger on the 8th. From there I will be flying on small mission plane to Miradi where I will staying with Jonathan and Dani Bowden. Some of you may remember that Dani traveled with us many years ago and helped us homeschool Marie-Louise while we traveled across West Africa. Now she and her husband have a fruitful ministry in Niger. It
is very exciting for me to be able to visit and minister with them.

I will be speaking at a woman’s conference, teaching in a Bible school and ministering in local churches. After I leave the Bowdens in Miradi, I will fly back to Niamey and then on to Benin to be with Pastor Nazaire and his wife. In Benin, I will be teaching at two different Bible Schools, one in Cotonou and one in Boicon, as well as speaking in local churches.

This trip is especially expensive. The cost of visas and flights will be a little over $3,000 which includes $900 for the local missionary flights. West Africa is always costs more than other places that I travel to, but few people go to the French speaking nations and the need is great. This area can be dangerous with Boko Haram so your prayers for safety and finances are appreciated.

Looking Forward
Every year has it’s own challenges and yet I feel an excitement about 2020 and I am not afraid of my tomorrows. God is always in control. Even when it seems like there is confusion and uncertainty, one thing I know is that I can depend on the Lord to direct my path, encourage me when I face difficulties, and provide solutions for me even if it looks like situations are impossible.

God tells it best in Isaiah 41:10. “Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.” Isaiah 41:10 NLT

I want to encourage you. No matter what you are facing, no matter how impossible life seems today, don’t be afraid. God has good days ahead and He will strengthen you!
God Bless!

Fred’s Mission Report and Upcoming Trip
Al Dressed Up And Nowhere To Go.
That’s kind of what happened to Fred in October. He had his tickets to Africa, bags packed and all checked in at the Buffalo airport ready to fly but his plane was held up in Washington for repairs. When they announced that the plane would not arrive till perhaps 5:45, he knew he wouldn’t make it to JFK in time to catch his flight to Africa, so he queued up. When he got to the desk he was told, “We’ve canceled your flight for today.” He was not able to get his flights rescheduled and finally gave up getting to Africa for his seminars and graduation. He sent the diplomas by DHL and rescheduled his trip for April.

Other upcoming Trips
Debby is traveling to the Ivory Coast in May. Her daughter-in-law Tina will be traveling with her. They will be teaching at pastor’s seminars and Bible schools.
In June, Fred, Debby, and Marie-Louise will be traveling to the Philippines.

Dates are filling up.  Book Debby now for 2020.

Support
Please ask the Lord to direct you in how you can help us. We are still looking for 1000 people who will covenant to pray with us.

We are also looking for 500 people who would support this ministry financially. Just $10 a month would be a blessing.

We are very grateful for every one of you who take part in this ministry. You are a blessing to us and an even greater blessing to people around the world.
